Distance Learning Services

Distance Learning services are provided by the Instructional Media department, to facilitate online courses. Materials are digitized and reformatted into several various file types and media to make them accessible by students. Faculty instructors who are teaching online courses organize their materials and work with IM staff to record and digitize their content. Lecture notes, Syllabi, and contact information is compiled and made available online for students enrolled in the Distance Learning course. Content is streamed via a Microsoft Streaming Server housed in Academic Computing, Tampa, via the NetCast site.
